More Progress

 Well I made it through Anders and my Wedding anniversary, I have to admit it was the hardest day I've had for awhile, I spent it driving to Lowes to get a new toilet ha! I bought some flowers for the yard and now it will be Anders garden, the flowers are all yellow so I'll have to buy Red ones next year because he really loved Red flowers. I think I'll get a bench and maybe a lighthouse ( he would hate it but also would laugh at me for doing it so that makes me want to do it more..) 

I stopped on my way home from Lowes to visit my wonderful family that are a mile a way from my home and I got the uplift I needed. I am so happy I moved here..:)

Things are exciting, as I now have a hot water heater and heat pump is in the works! Having hot water is the best !

So things are getting a bit more organized , I threw some primer on the old subfloors which cleaned it up a bit .

All ready for the gutters and then I'm going to make a floating walkway under the overhang. I'll paint the color on tomorrow and then trim the windows :)It looks like a house finally!

Abel is finishing up a couple walls and then we will get the electrician in to redo the wiring, plumber working a little at a time ( doing me a major favor <3)

I'm so excited ..

Will be a delay on my end for a few weeks after this week since my son and his beautiful family are flying in from Germany for a few weeks, I can't even begin to express how excited I am to see them all! 

Everyday is progress

 

I've really been enjoying riding my new bike.  Taking gravel roads to the gym so I can go up and down hills and see more scenery than when I take the rail trail. Its been so hot the past few weeks and when its not hot its raining! So many towns in Vermont have had major damage from flooding!

Izzy came up a few days to help me burn brush and while she was working to earn money Maddie was building a new lego set I bought..:)

I really worked and cleaned up the area where all the building materials were tossed and before that was a messy wood pile. I really like the way it looks.

The girls and I went to a local fair and had a great time , actually went twice..:) I won Gus the seagull..:)

So excited my windows are all in ( except one ) and I have a front door! It actually finally looks like a house! My neighbors all stop and look to see what else as been done !

I really love my front yard, will be even better when the camper is gone! I bought a few more plants but not sure where to plant them yet, eventually I'll have some berries down there.

BEFORE

AFTER!!! This side is DONE! Abel put in the windows ( I did the funky little window that goes to my storage space) I did the trim on the windows and primed and painted and did the drainage stonework. Still need a few more stones but living in Vermont , they are everywhere...I think we grow them!

I now have a new Hybrid Hot water heater, and my heatpump is almost all installed, next they are putting in my shower!  Progress is being made! I love this little space!
