Cinnamon Apple Pie Bread/cake
BEWARE!!! DANGEROUS! YOU'LL WANT TO EAT IT ALL !!
Preheat over to 350 degrees - Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan ( or use a silicone one I LOVE THEM)
Mix together and set aside -
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Beat together -
2/3 cup white sugar
1 stick salted butter ( or unsalted add 1/4 tsp salt)
Add in 2 eggs and beat well and 1 1/2 tsp vanilla.
Combine separately -
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 3/4 tsps baking powder
add to butter mixture then add
1/2 cup milk
add 1/2 of the mixture to the loaf pan and cover with 1/2 a chopped granny smith apple
and half of the brown sugar/cinnamon mixture then add the rest of the batter and cover again
with the other half of the apple and the rest of the brown sugar mixture. At this point push the
apples and cinnamon into the mixture slightly stirring it as you do so.
Bake in preheated oven until the tooth pick test comes out clean, I think mine took at least 40 minutes but varies on your oven so start checking it after 30.
