YUM YUM Tomato Soup


1/8 cup Olive Oil
1 Cup Chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves ( I have also used a tablespoon of Garlic Powder )
1/2 Cup finely chopped carrots
1/4 cup of chopped celery or 2 tsps of celery seed
28 ounces of crushed tomatoes or tomato sauce
3 1/2 cups of broth ( vegetable or chicken )
1 tablespoon worchester sauce
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp black pepper
4 drops of hot sauce.


Heat oil and saute Onion and Garlic until tender, add carrot and celery and cook til tender stirring
often, stir in the rest of the ingredients and simmer 30 minutes. You could puree it after its done but I kinda like the carrot and onion pieces..
